Meet Chris Jackson, Lead Guide:
Fishing experience from the Pacific to the Atlantic, as well as Belize.
I'm a full time fishing guide and owner of Action Angler & Outdoor Center on the Guadalupe River. My fly shop opened in May of 2002. I have over 30 years of fly fishing experience, which started on stock ponds in north east Texas. I caught my first trout on the fly in Colorado at age 12 while hiking the headwaters of the Rio Grande. I continue to fish Colorado at least once a year, and have fishing experience in numerous waters stretching from California to Maine and all the way down to Key West. My only experience out of the country is Belize. I'm always looking to share my experience with other anglers looking to fish the hill country, and learn from other anglers as well.
(TXPW licensed fishing guide, and Colorado float guide certified)

Chris - Thank you for an awesome day of fishing the Guadalupe. I didn't know trout grew that large and had no idea there were so many. We will send pictures. I will stop by for some bugs one day this week.

Chris,
Thank you for a delightful day in paradise. Nora and I really enjoyed fishing with you. Maybe next time I will land that Big One at the swimming hole and join the 20-20 Club. What a great day, and great rainbows.
Thanks,
Mike
Thanks again for guiding us on great visit to the Guad. I think the grin on
Katie's face on the attached photos says it all. I'm sending you two
versions: One shows just Katie and the fish. The other one shows you holding
the net, which is proof that you helped her nab the big one!

Until next time, take care and keep up the good work.

Best,
--David.

Hey man, we had a great time Saturday. Thanks for everything. I’ll send you some pictures from my home eMail tonight and I’ll stop by the shop next time I’m around. Cheers!

–Matt

Chris,

Thanks for a great day on the river today.  Scott and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Your guiding was fabulous, as it was hard not to catch the fish as you put us right
on top of them several dozen times.

Consider Scott and I true fans.  We hope to see you on the water later this Spring
and we will definitely be back for a Summer bass float guide trip later this year.

Thanks again,

Tim
