ECHO Classic Competition Rod
The Echo #5 Classic Ultimate Distance rod was a late arrival last year, but still earned world-wide recognition and became one of our top sellers before the tackle year was over. Many skeptics-beholden to the illusion that a rods power and action are solely functions of material- claimed Tim couldn't make a low-cost distance casting rod. Tim put his brain to work and created a five weight rod that cast farther than any other five weight on the market.

ECHO Classic Spey Rods
Almost two years in the making, the Echo Classic Spey rods are the culmination of countless hours of tinkering and testing. To say that Tim is a perfectionist is an understatement, and the performance of these rods is a testament to his dedication. Available in four sizes, 6/7-9/10, and are all four piece designs.
The Classic Spey Rods were designed to fulfill the niche popularized in the US and Canada by west coast Steelheaders. This style of fishing is identified by the use of medium length, moderate action rods. These rods help people feel the rod load the formation of the "D" loop and the forward cast without causing tailing loops. Because of the type of cast and the length of the weight forward section of the line the ECHO Classic two hand rods come in different lengths for each line size. The 6/7 rod is 12'6". The 7/8 rod is 13'0". The 8/9 rod is 13'6". The 9/10 rod is 14'0".
All the ECHO Classic Spey Rods are designed to cast and fish floating lines, sink tip lines, and the popular Skagit lines or Skagit heads. All four models were designed to have similar actions to cast well under the conditions found on most Steelhead rivers. You would choose the rod size to match the length of your cast, the size of the fly, and the size of the fish you expect to catch. We recommend you buy one of each rod so you can be sure you have the right rod for the job.
The rods all have chrome plated, stainless steel, single foot snake guides on all but the bottom two guides. The bottom stripper guides are stainless steel frames with a highly polished ceramic ring insert to reduce friction and to provide a lifetime of use. The reel seats are all clear anodized to match the guide color and logo color. The blanks have a deep gloss green finish. The handle has a comfortable shape that allows the person to move their hands around until they find a place that feel best to them. They come with a tough cordura rod case, and cloth rod sock.

ECHO Trip Travel Rod
The Echo Trip is the latest innovation from the mind of Tim Rajeff designed to defy logical explanation. It doesn't seem possible that an eight piece rod can feel soooooo good. Throw in the cool case and you have the ultimate design for a travel fly rod; compact, room for you reel, flies and tippet, and it casts like a champ.

ECHO2 Fly Rods
New for 2006, The Echo2 range of rods was designed by Tim Rajeff to bring the expectations for a fly rods performance--and its utility, to a new level. Echo2 rods feature a quiver of high-performance features, including top-of-the-line components, superior actions and stunning good looks. (That's right, they're dead sexy.) To further agitate our competitors and brighten the eyes of our customers, Tim put his design brain into overtime and created the Echo2 rods to perform better across a wider range of applications than any other rod on the market. Every Echo2 rod comes with 2 tips with differing actions; one tip is marked "A" for accuracy and the other "D" for distance.
As a long-time casting instructor, Tim Rajeff has always tried to teach according to the physical and personal casting style of his students. Some casters have body types that naturally fit a more agressive and abrupt casting stroke, while others are more fit for a smoother, slower style. Tim doesn't hold anybody to a given technique--different strokes for different folks, right? The problem many casters encounter, however, is matching their rods to that specific style. Another problem faced by fly-fishers is the dilemna of fine-tuning their equipment to fit changing fishing scenarios. No one buys one five weight for drifting nymph rigs and a separate five weight for sight-casting to rising trout, despite the fact that separate actions will better serve each scenario. Out of these dilemnas rose the concept of matching two tips with separate actions to each Echo2 rod. The Accuracy tip was made for, well... accuracy. To quote Tim, "The accuracy tip is softer, which allows the rod to load with less line out the rod for times when you are starting with the fly in your hand. The accuracy tip also helps people who have smoother casting strokes because they can feel the rod load sooner in the stroke and help them take full advantage of the rods overall power." This is the tip you'll use when fishing flats, or making quick casts to moving fish. The Distance tip is stiffer. This is the perfect tip to use for bringing sinking lines to the surface, for throwing longer lines, and for people with a more aggressive casting stroke. Because it is stiffer it forces the butt to load sooner in the stroke giving the rod a more modest feel.Regardless of which tip you prefer, having an alternative gives you a great degree of flexibility in order to better meet the demands of fly-fishing. The tips are reasonably close in stiffness so if any of the tips ever meet with a car door or a branch, you can use the other one as a spare.

ECHO2 Saltwater Fly Rods
The Echo2 Saltwater series of fly rods were designed by Tim Rajeff to do what every chaser of big fish needs most in a fly rod; cast large flies, give the wind something to howl at, survive the rigors of serious fishing, and have the backbone to play tug-o-war with Moby Dick.
No one wants to stick it to Dick with an ugly fly rod, so Tim paid special attention to the components and made the Echo2 rods a beautiful thing to look at as well. The Echo2 Saltwater rods feature top of the line components; high grade cork handles, extra hard stripper guides with "illusion plasma coating system" in titanium coated frames, hard chrome snake guides, and a deep blue gloss finish. The #12 has a unique removable EVA foam fighting grip for really putting the pressure on. Poor Moby doesn't stand a chance.
To further put the competition on the defensive, every Echo2 rod comes with two tips; one tip marked "A" for accuracy, and another marked "D" for distance. Each tip has a distinct action to help you further achieve your casting needs.
